I have a very lively working cocker spaniel who loves to be looked after by The Dog Lady Wales.

Rachel has keys to my house, as well as the alarm fob, and is entirely trustworthy and reliable. She keeps me informed of my dog's activities and reports any concerns calmly. She is very organised and punctual and clearly loves dogs.

I have used several pet sitters in the last 24 years and Rachel is the best of a good bunch. She will look after the dogs in her care in the way the owner prefers so that they do not develop bad habits while their owner is away.

 I trust her entirely to let my dog off lead as I know she will care for him as I do. I also trust her entirely with my house, which is very reassuring in my absence. 

I have no hesitation in recommending The Dog Lady Wales as a pet sitter or dog walker.

Rachel looked after my two cavachons recently when my usual boarder was unavailable they had a great time. I would not hesitate to recommend Rachel, I felt very confident they were in good hands. I will definitely use her services again.

I cannot recommend The Dog Lady Wales highly enough.

Rachel has called to our house on several occasions when we have been out for the day and walked our 11-year-old sheepdog Luna and fed our 20year old cat Tibbles.

Rachel  has also stayed overnight, pet sitting at weekends and for a week when we were abroad, to look after Luna and Tibbles.  

The Dog Lady Wales is very easy to get on with.  She is very reliable and trust worthy and clearly loves her work. I would not hesitate recommending her services!

Rachel has looked after my dog on a number of occasions including staying at my home for a week.  Having someone to stay in my house is a big deal for me – but Rachel is so tidy; 100% trustworthy; and doesn’t drink or smoke – so I have no hesitation with her staying again …. or recommending her to anyone at all.  

So whilst leaving house is a big deal,  leaving my dog is an even bigger deal, but she was really great at checking exactly how I wanted her looked after (eg not off lead walks) and provided a really professional service. And to top it off I’m sure my house was cleaner than when I left it.  Mostly I know without question that if Rachel says she is going to do something then she does / and conversely if I don’t want her to do something – then she wont, so ultimately I can then relax when I am away knowing dog and home are safe and well cared for.

We popped down to stay with friends and for an evening out we found Rachel to dog sit Radar. We were chuffed to bits with the care and attention she gave. We would heartily recommend The Dog Lady Wales.

Rachel came to stay at my house to look after my young cat, Cleo for a week. It was a tall order, as Cleo was pre-spaying operation and Rachel had to put up with a young and needy cat in season! She was so kind and kept Cleo entertained and relaxed whilst I was away. Not only that, I'm pretty sure my house was left cleaner by Rachel than when I had left for my holiday! So it was a pleasure to come home to a contented cat, who appeared not to have missed me one iota (a testament to Rachel's attention to her) and to a home in better condition than I left it in. I have booked Rachel's cat-sitting services again for June next year, as it will allow me to enjoy my holiday, knowing Cleo has a loving person to be with her whilst I'm away for a week.
